About Us

The Dream Hub is a coworking & empowerment hub.

What does that mean, anyway?

  • We believe in chasing your biggest dreams and having a strong community to help you reach them.

  • We support you right where you are in your professional or entrepreneurial journey—whether you’re looking for work, starting a business, growing a business, or not sure what you want to do just yet.

  • We offer free community-based programming and low-cost virtual coworking to remove finances as a barrier to pursuing your dreams.

  • We are soul-lifting and here to empower you to dream, plan, and do.

  • We also have an affordable legal clinic to help entrepreneurs launch or grow their businesses.

Our Mission

The Dream Hub exists to empower and cultivate a community of aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives, and other professionals. We provide space, support, empowerment, and resources to the multi-ethnic neighborhood of Jamaica, New York City, and beyond.

The Dream Hub leadership team strives to continuously support creatives and entrepreneurs and give them access to resources that may not be able to afford or have access to. We value representation, and our leadership team represents the populace we serve.

It was all a dream!

These days, The Dream Hub offers virtual coworking & empowerment to support you in your entrepreneurial and creative pursuits, even as you battle sudden remote work, economic turmoil, and a pandemic.

But for us, just like most entrepreneurial-minded souls, it all started out as a dream.

Our dream was to create a nonprofit coworking space in the multi-ethnic community of Downtown Jamaica in Queens, New York City. It’s an area that’s rich in local culture but lacking some of the entrepreneurial resources found in other parts of Queens and the larger NYC area. As an antidote to developers leveraging our community’s untapped potential, we took a grassroots approach to building an entrepreneurial community, holding brunches, workshops, game nights to empower the community.

The pandemic didn’t stop us.

Although our renovation & reopening plans were pushed to 2021, we’ve expanded our reach to entrepreneurs, creatives, and other professionals from all around the world. And we now have an entire virtual coworking membership that includes workshops, networking opportunities, discounts, legal support, and our signature virtual coworking experience, Empower Hour.
